Travel Insurance

Life is not predictable and sometimes the best laid plans go astray.  We recommend that all our guests secure comprehensive travel insurance before leaving home.  We strongly suggest selecting a plan that will cover sickness or unpredictable circumstances that may require you to change your plans.  Even if you live locally and are driving to the retreat, please remember that you are booking a package that is non-refundable should any unplanned event arise. Please consider the following when choosing your policy:

- Cancellation fees
- Lost deposits
- Additional expenses for accidental injury, sickness and hospitalisation
- Medical evacuation
- Luggage and personal effects
- Travel delay and alternative transport expenses
- Personal liability

Insurance can be tricky; ensure you read the product disclosure statement to select the most suitable cover policy for you.  Maitri Retreats cannot be held accountable or liable for any costs associated with changes to your travel arrangements.

Disclosures

To make the most of your investment we recommend you disclose any and all special considerations, situations or conditions that may impact your experience.  This may include any medication conditions, dietary requirements or addictions.  Please know that any disclosures will be held in the strictest confidence as per our privacy policy above.

What to bring

We recommend you research the location of the retreat you are attending to ensure you bring the appropriate clothes complimentary to the weather and cultural expectations.  Check out our accomodation to determine if you need any special clothes - there may be a pool or spa on location and you don't want to miss out!  Don't forget your toiletries and any medications you may need.  Please be aware that it is your responsibility to ensure that the medications in question are allowed to be bought into any Countries you enter.
